In July 2015, I had the opportunity to live an experience that profoundly transformed my artistic approach. I traveled to San Juan de Teotihuacán, a place I had always admired from afar, but now, standing in front of its imposing pyramids, I felt a direct connection with the energy of the earth and the wisdom of the Mexican people.

Being in that place, surrounded by the grandeur of the pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, was like a revelation.
The majesty of the architecture, the precision with which the structures were designed, and the mystery that surrounds every corner of Teotihuacán immersed me in a state of wonder and reflection. It was here that the idea for my new work, entitled “EN LA LUNA”, began to germinate.

“The city of the gods”, as Teotihuacán is known, became the muse for this project. Inspired by the magnificence of the pyramids, I decided to integrate elements of the Mexican tradition, each full of symbolism and power. The jaguar, in particular, became a central axis of the work, symbolizing strength, intuition, and connection with the divine.

The project “EN LA LUNA” began to take shape as an amalgam of sounds, images, and concepts. This piece was built as a journey toward the elevation of consciousness, a personal search to unravel the secrets that sound and image could reveal. I immersed myself in the study of the Mexican culture, its rituals, its gods, and its vision of the cosmos.

It was an enriching experience, not only as a creator, but also as a human being in constant evolution. I learned that art can be a powerful tool for elevating consciousness, for expanding the limits of our perception and for exploring the deeper dimensions of our existence. ON THE MOON became a reflection of that inner journey, a bridge between the old and the new, between the earthly and the cosmic.
